We bought our RV used off a dealers lot so we didn't have a choice. They only had one View and it had a 3.5L V6 gas engine. 2008 was the only year a buyer could get a gas engine in the View and Navion. Now, they're all diesel powered.

-DonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5964519272344871220.post-52663793802536537332011-12-15T23:14:19.469-05:002011-12-15T23:14:19.469-05:00Yeah remember when a selling point for diesel was ...Yeah remember when a selling point for diesel was that the fuel was cheaper than gasoline because it didn't have to be refined as much?

What happened to that?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10905216028697876865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5964519272344871220.post-79405800121452666362011-12-15T19:12:11.259-05:002011-12-15T19:12:11.259-05:00Rene the difference is about the same everywhere. ...Rene the difference is about the same everywhere. Diesels do get slightly better MPG but I don't think it would equal out financially to a gas powered RV.

donAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5964519272344871220.post-79866835465973075142011-12-15T11:32:44.918-05:002011-12-15T11:32:44.918-05:00WOW that is a HUGE difference!!!!!
