EVERY roadway is under conscruction it seems. The detours and rerouting are not well marked and a GPS is useless because it can't navigate through the detours.
It's as if the person in charge of Dallas road construction decided to do 20 major projects all at once instead of doing one at a time.
I'm sure Dallas' roadways will be spectacular in 5-10 years but they sure do suck SUCK right now.
It appears that the injury attorneys are cleaning up though.

Through much of Northern Texas, the wind was a constant 15-25 mph (or more?). Our MPG dropped to 7.5 mpg as the View struggled to keep up her speed. It would be very costly to drive in this kind of wind often!

| The wind was good for one thing though... This was at a rest stop on the highway. Truckers seemed to enjoy this as many honked their horns. I don't imagine I'll fly a kite in Texas again. It was fun though!! |
