I realized I hadn’t tried any authentic N.O. food in the 3 nights that I was here. On the way east, I came across this little place and decided to turn around.
I told them I needed to try some good N.O. food before I leave but I didn’t really know what I wanted. They were more than happy to set me up with the shrimp/chicken/sausage gumbo and a shrimp po-boy.

It was delish and I am glad I stopped. Plus, I would have never heard then end of it from Herman if I didn’t eat any cajun food while in New Orleans. 
Mmmm looks yummy. Is it spicy? Herman would not have let you live that down, your right. Did Tigger try any? Ma

ReplyDeleteTigger didn't try any and yes it was a little spicy but nothing I couldn't handle. Or should I say, nothing my heartburn med couldn't handle.
